Prof. Dr. Grégory Guisbiers

PI / h-index=36, citations =3948

Dr. Guisbiers is a condensed matter physicist, currently Associate Professor with tenure at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is active in quantum/nano physics - studying size, shape and composition effects on materials properties. Theoretically, he is interested in quantum/nano -thermodynamics; and experimentally, he is synthesizing new quantum/nano-materials by Pulsed Laser Ablation in Liquids (PLAL). His goal is to make an impact in quantum electronics, nano-metallurgy and nano-medicine. Dr. Guisbiers has secured more than 1.2 million dollars from research grants as PI or Co-PI from federal and industrial sources. His research has been featured in Physics World, MRS Bulletin... He is currently Editorial Board Member of six international journals and consultant for several governmental agencies. Finally, he also pursues industrial valorization for his research through intellectual property efforts.
